Experience

Wayne has recently retired following 10 years as
Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Ballarat and has recently
accepted the position of Chair of the Academic Board at the Melbourne
Institute of Technology, a private higher education institute. Wayne has
extensive experience in teaching, research and leadership in the higher
education sphere.

Wayne has held the appointments of:

• Deputy Vice-President (Academic) (Deakin University)
• Professor of Veterinary Pathology (Queensland University)
• Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor(Murdoch University)
• Graduate Research Associate and in latter two years, Assistant Professor of Pathology in College of Veterinary Medicine (Ohio State University)
• Veterinary Pathologist at the Veterinary Research Institute (The University of Melbourne)

He is a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists and Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. Wayne has authored more than 130 publications.
