flow-through sub-fund

A Flow-through sub- fund is used when donations are to be used in a specific and short term arrangement without the need for long term growth.

Usually funds are directed to flow through to a specific field of interest or community project; however they can also be distributed over time in the short to medium term.

Multiple distributions to various recipients can be handled.

This fund is an ideal mechanism for donors supporting specific causes, alternatively it is a good mechanism for disbursements from estates or trusts.

Donor recognition is handled in the same way as for a named Sub-fund.
