named sub-fund
This Sub-fund is ideally suited to an individual or business wishing to create a fund which is referenced publicly or privately to a particular donor(s).
They are an alternative to Private Ancillary Funds (PAF) offering some very real benefits to the donor.
- Funds are referenced and acknowledged in the name specified by the donor. This can be an individual, partners, family names, a business name or in the memory of someone.
- The fund is named from the outset, although the initial minimum contribution can be made over a period of years.*
- The donor can participate in the fund as little or as much as they desire.
- Ongoing contributions, whilst not essential, are recommended at least for a few years.
- Donations to the fund are tax deductible where required.**
- Named fund donors are able to be involved in presenting grants from the fund if they wish.
- The fund continues into perpetuity, even after the donor’s passing.
Over time, with further contributions, a Named Fund can build to become a substantial community funding tool.
Particularly for business, and possibly individuals too, Named Sub-Funds can replace or supplement existing, sometimes ad hoc, charitable donations and community support.
Named Sub-Funds can also boost a business's social capital and community image, save administration time in dealing with requests and can be funded from a business's existing community support and sponsorship budget.
A Named Sub-Fund costs nothing to establish, can be set up in a day, and has very low administration costs.
We are happy to discuss this or any other options with you, confidentially and totally obligation free.
* Please contact the CEO for further information on amounts and terms.
* The minimum contribution is $10,000 with an initial amount not less than $5,000. ** Where tax deductible gifts are received, conditions can apply limiting certain grant options
