Work is underway to build a 7 Star, Low Energy Charity Home, in support of The Ballarat Foundation.
The home, which has been under development for many months, recently took a major step and became a reality when the slab was poured for this exciting community project.
Being built through a partnership with the Integra Group and the University of Ballarat, the home is being supported by a number of local and national suppliers, including Ballarat’s Eureka Concrete who has supplied concrete for the slab.

Once completed the 7 Star Low Energy Charity Home will be open to the public for at least three months and provide an opportunity for prospective home builders, potential buyers and interested members of the community to discover low-energy and sustainable living options.
The Ballarat Foundation is a community foundation benefiting Ballarat and surrounding areas through a range of philanthropic activities. In the last seven years, the Foundation has distributed $1,000,000 to 108 organisations in the Ballarat community for a wide range of projects.
