Jodie Perry

I am a passionate mental health advocate who believes every person deserves the opportunity to be their best self every single day. I volunteer with Hand In Hand Ballarat who, with the support of the Sebastian Foundation, funds the delivery of The Open Parachute evidence based, proactive, mental health program into our local schools. The program aims to help young people build emotional resilience and well-being giving them a toolbox of skills to ensure that throughout their life they live every day to its fullest. Guided by a vision for long-term, generational change, I continue to be committed to creating meaningful impact in my community.

I have over 25 years of global experience in finance and accounting, and apply my knowledge to support and strengthen the causes I believe in. My professional career continues to add valuable insights to my volunteer work, allowing me to contribute in practical and strategic ways. I always bring a positive attitude, a smile and a genuine passion to everything I do which is why I am honoured to be part of Dancing with the Stars Ballarat and to raise much needed funds for the incredible work the Ballarat Foundation does in our community.

I value time spent with family and friends, finding joy in connection and shared experiences. I can often be found unwinding on the tennis court, at pilates or in my garden, which gives me the energy to pursue my many passions.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and this incredible cause which gives so much back to our local community and especially to those of disadvantage.
