I grew up in Adelaide in a sports-focused family, with football becoming my passion. After quickly progressing through the ranks, I was drafted by the Adelaide Crows, though my most memorable football career moments came after being traded to the Melbourne Football Club at the end of the 1995 season.

A fresh start in Melbourne, alongside my marriage, led to both my football career and personal life flourishing. The Melbourne Football Club, its people, and their ongoing support have been an important part of my journey.

My career in construction eventually brought me to Ballarat, where I connected with the Haymes family and provided advice on a project. My wife and I now live in Buninyong.

Inspired by Melbourne Football Club legend Jim Stynes, I’ve been involved with the charity, Reach, for 30 years, and in April 2025, I was honoured to join the Board. This experience, along with my work with The Lighthouse Foundation, The Shane Warne Foundation, and Streat, has deepened my commitment to supporting those in need.

After attending the “Dancing with the Stars” event in Ballarat in 2024, I decided to participate. Though dancing is a challenge for me because I have two left feet and no rhythm, I’m enjoying the process and working hard with my dance partner.

I’m proud to represent Ballarat and Buninyong in raising funds and awareness for the Ballarat Foundation. Please show your support for all the dancers and those who make this event possible.

I look forward to seeing you along the way!
