Having lived in this beautiful city for most of my life, it’s an honour to be able to do something so positive to help the Ballarat Foundation. To actively help a foundation that does so much good for the local community is a privilege.

Some 2020 community impact highlights for the Ballarat Foundation were:

- The gifting of more than $230,000 in grants to more than 20 not-for-profit and community organisations through our various grant programs and sub funds;
- Helping children to build a love of books and reading, with more than 2800 books delivered through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program;
- Distributing $17,000 in vouchers to ensure some of our most vulnerable families have what their children need for school;
- and there is so much more.

I would be so grateful for your help in reaching my goal to raise $10,000 for the foundation.

The gala is in 4 days! This means lots of last minute preparations, rehearsals and the nerves are starting to come in! Thanks to everyone who has supported me so far in this amazing journey, with donations, encouragement and well wishes, it’s going to be amazing!

It’s been a very long time between updates, but we have been very busy dancing, dancing, fundraising and then dancing some more here. The dance is coming together, the group dance lessons have started and it’s going to be amazing! And I’m incredibly grateful for all of the support, encouragement, well wishes and donations which have been flowing in.

Dance lessons have begun! Lesson number one happened today and I must say, I’m really glad the Gala is still almost 11 weeks away… I need a whole lot of practice!! Thanks for all of your support already. Check my social channels for behind the scenes videos too!

Today we officially launched this years Dancing with our Stars event, and I could finally announce that I’ve been lucky enough to be invited to participate! I can’t wait to get started with my first lesson next week!
