Through a partnership between the Victorian Government and the Ballarat community, the Wendouree-Delacombe Sub Fund was created to address disadvantage and build stronger futures for two key areas of Ballarat, Wendouree and Delacombe.

This perpetual capital fund is invested to generate annual income, which is then distributed as grants to local projects and programs. These initiatives are chosen by a community-based assessment panel, ensuring funding goes to the programs that will have the greatest impact and meet the changing needs of the community.

Because the fund’s capital is held in perpetuity, the earnings provide ongoing support year after year, creating lasting change without the need to raise the same funds annually.
