Give the Gift of Reading: Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Ballarat.
This incredible early literacy program gifts free, high-quality books to children from birth to five years old, no cost to families, no catch - just a deep belief in the power of reading.
In Ballarat and the region, the program is proudly managed by the Ballarat Foundation. As the regional program manager, the Foundation works to fund, coordinate and grow the Imagination Library across our towns and suburbs.
While Ballarat boasts a rich educational landscape, challenges remain in early literacy and educational attainment. Adult literacy and numeracy rates in Ballarat are lower than the state average, indicating socio-economic disparities within the region.
Every contribution makes a difference. Thank you for supporting our cause.
