Heidi Biggin is a local disability advocate, accessibility voice and inclusion champion. She lost the majority of her eyesight in 2010, but that has never held her back. Together with her guide dog Freya, she is ready to take on the challenge to dance.
A wife and mum of three, she is a qualified access consultant with her own business, hb accessibility.
In 2025 she was named the City of Ballarat’s Accessibility Advocate of the Year, won the Power FM and Optus Raising the Bar Community Spirit Award, was a finalist in the Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards, was named a Great Woman of Ballarat, won the Peter Davies Scholarship to attend the Committee for Ballarat Future Shapers leadership program and was a finalist in the Ballarat Citizen of the Year Awards.
Is winning Dancing with the Stars Champion her next achievement?
Every contribution to Heidi’s Dancing with Our Stars campaign makes a difference. Thank you for supporting Heidi and the Ballarat Foundation.
