Respect Victoria has partnered with the Ballarat Foundation to administer a grants program as part of Respect Ballarat. $1 million is being held in stewardship by the Ballarat Foundation, who will administer a grants program to support local organisations to work in purposeful partnerships to deliver targeted 12-month prevention and early intervention initiatives that support behaviour change work in Ballarat.
The grants will focus on:
- Building partnerships between local organisations, prevention and community organisations to further prevention work
- Building prevention knowledge, understanding and action in workplaces and communities
- Seeking local solutions to behaviour change to prevent gendered violence.
Applications open Monday, 20 October 2025 and will close Friday 12 December. Projects will be funded for a maximum of one year and will be open to a wide range of local organisations, community groups and partnerships. Small grants will range from $5,000-$50,000 and large grants from $50,001 to $100,000. A total of $1 million is available for this initial round of funding.
