Three amazing charities, one amazing night!
Pitch Up is a fun, high-energy event facilitating real change in the lives of others through the power of the collective group. In 2022 the event supported three local charities; Ballarat Men’s Mental Health, Eureka Mums and Ballarat Foundation Housing Support Fund. Stay tuned for details about the next Pitch Up event.
Through partnerships and generous local donors, The Ballarat Foundation distributed $67,000 from this event.
The local programs that the event supported in 2022:
Eureka Mums
Eureka Mums exists to provide local babies and children experiencing disadvantage with the essential nursery equipment and clothing they need for a safe start in life.
We collect and safety-check nursery equipment including cots, prams, and car seats along with items such as clothing, books, toys, nappies & other important items to distribute to those who need them most in our local community.
Ballarat Men’s Mental Health
Ballarat Men’s Mental Health works to improve mental health outcomes and reduce suicide rates for men in the Ballarat region by establishing an easily accessible men’s mental health service, partnering closely with other providers to ensure a seamless and positive experience for men and their families.
The Ballarat Foundation
The Ballarat Foundation has created a housing support fund with the aim of funding projects which reduce homelessness in the Ballarat region.
The fund will focus on:
- New and innovative solutions to end cycles of homelessness through financial support for infrastructure development
- Supporting existing homeless service providers with project-based funds
