Community Impact Grants 

2021 grant recipients

The Ballarat Foundation is proud to announce more than $100,000 will be distributed to community organisations and projects following our 2021 Community Grants Program. 

The projects funded in the general Community Impact grant round include:

  • A Pot of Courage: Tiered Empowerment Project – Funded amount:$5000
  • Ballarat Community Garden – Funded amount: $3900
  • The Ballarat Tool Library – Funded amount: $1992
  • Ballarat Community Church’s Doorways Program – Funded amount: $10,000
  • Ballarat East Neighborhood House Playgroup- Funded amount: $3570
  • Ballarat Community Health ‘Go4Green’ – Funded amount: $2500
  • Anglicare Ballarat cooking sessions – Funded amount: $2500
  • Meals for Change (MfC) – Funded amount: $4752
  • Mercy Connect refugee mentoring program – Funded amount: $2500
  • The Phoenix College Breakfast Club – Funded amount: $2500
  • Ballarat Toy Library – Funded amount: $858
  • The Salvation Army LARF Mentoring Program – Funded amount: $5000

The recipients of the Wendouree-Delacombe Sub Fund grants include:

  • The Refresh project, Wendouree Neighbourhood Centre – Funded amount: $4950
  • Wendouree West Exodus Community Family Holiday weekend – Funded amount: $6000
  • Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre/Delacombe Chairs Forum – Funded amount: $8000

The Courier Charity Fund has awarded the following grants:

  • Wendouree Neighborhood Centre – Funded amount: $9405
  • The Breezeway Meals Program – Funded amount: $15,000

The Peter Amor Sports Participation Fund will provide support to:

  • City Junior Rowing Club – Funded amount: $3200
  • Ballarat Basketball Association All Abilities Rookie Hoops program – Funded amount  $1804.
